Dr Alyson Hallett is a poet who also writes for radio and television. She considers creativity to be a vital component of every writing process and designs her workshops with this in mind. Composition, structure and editing are key areas Alyson is interested in, along with encouraging collaborative processes in the workplace and developing skills to help with proofreading and how to précis long documents. Alyson has worked with Bristol and Nottingham City Councils and Bristol Food Producers, among others, and has taught on an MBA in creative problem-solving at the Open University. She was an RLF Fellow at the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth. She also has a poem carved into a pavement in Bath and delivers talks about her work nationally and internationally.
