Brian Clegg is a science writer with over 30 books published, who regularly writes for national newspapers and magazines. He has run Guardian masterclasses on science writing and has provided writing workshops to the University of Bristol, Arkbound and Emmaus charities, the Centre for Sustainable Energy and the National Autistic Society. A former senior manager at British Airways, he has also run creativity workshops for many clients from an organic mattress manufacturer to the BBC, Sony, the Met Office, McCains and the Treasury. He was an RLF Fellow at the University of Bristol for two years and edits the popularscience.co.uk website. Two of his books were longlisted for the Royal Society Prize, while Ecologic: the Truth and Lies of Green Economics won the IVCA Clarion Award.
