Jane Bingham is a prolific writer of non-fiction with a background in publishing, museums and tourism. She has delivered workshops in the public and private sectors and has worked as a mentor to entrepreneurs in the Birmingham region.  She was an RLF Fellow at Oxford Brookes University for three years and her employment history includes 10 years as a senior editor at Usborne Publishing, as well as work as a museum and travel guide. She is the author of over 100 books for children and teenagers, and has created web content for the BBC. Her work on information books has given her the skills to make any subject clear and engaging, and she brings this approach to her dynamic, hands-on workshops.
