Mark Illis writes novels, short stories, TV and radio drama and screenplays; he has delivered professional writing development across many subjects, among them ‘Structure’, ‘Feedback’ and ‘Taking Minutes’. His workshops embrace solo and group work, participation and discussion, and are informative, engaging and enjoyable. Mark was RLF Writing Fellow at York St John University for three years and he has run creative writing workshops in schools, universities and libraries, as well as HM Prison Reading and Broadmoor Hospital. He has been a Centre Director for the Arvon Foundation and has often broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4.
