Max Adams writes non-fiction and fiction and designs and leads workshops for universities, charities and commercial organisations. He has wide experience of project management in both private and non-profit sector. He teaches in the lifelong learning sector, and when not teaching or writing books has presented several television programmes. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, a Royal Literary Fund Consultant Fellow, and a Winston Churchill Memorial Fund Fellow. His nine critically acclaimed books include a bestseller, The King in the North (2013), and The Wisdom of Trees (2014). Max is the winner of both an Elizabeth Longford Award and a Roger Deakin Award.
