Mimi Thebo is a highly regarded children’s author who has run workshops for a wide variety of audiences, including PR practitioners, social workers, new media entrepreneurs and wine experts. In relaxed and content-rich workshops Mimi enjoys helping people develop skills that inform their writing and boost their confidence to make them more powerful communicators. She was an RLF Fellow at Cardiff University and lectures in Creative Studies at Bath Spa University. She has published nine novels, short stories, poetry, essays and journalism, and her work has been read on BBC Radio 4, adapted for a Bafta-winning film, and translated into eight languages. She recently published the Carnegie Medal-nominated Dreaming the Bear. She has also worked in marketing for building design engineers.
