Peter Benson is a novelist, screenwriter, journalist and copywriter who has led workshops and taught creative writing at universities, schools and residential centres across Europe and the USA. He has also been employed as a copywriter by some of the UK’s leading advertising agencies and worked on a number of high-profile strategic marketing campaigns. These involved the production of websites, posters, TV, radio and recruitment material, DM collateral, brochures, flyers, advertorials and press releases for clients including Oxfam, Expedia, Rolls-Royce and Jaguar Land Rover. He was an RLF Fellow at the University of Leicester. Peter is the author of several novels including The Levels, A Lesser Dependency, and Odo’s Hanging, for which he has won the Guardian Fiction Prize, the Encore Award and a Somerset Maugham Award. His most recent novel is The South In Winter.
