Dr Sanjida O’Connell is a novelist and non-fiction writer. She runs workshops for entrepreneurs that focus particularly on writing for social media, helping clients gain confidence, express themselves effectively to their customers, and promote themselves and their work. She has a science background and has worked as a documentary director and a science writer for newspapers and magazines, and enjoys the challenge of turning difficult ideas into easy-to-read prose. She is an RLF fellow at the University of Bristol and also works with the charity, First Story, which aims to change young disadvantaged people’s lives through writing. Her books include the thrillers Bone By Bone and The Stolen Child, and she has been shortlisted for several awards.
