Tim Walker writes novels for children and young adults, and has run workshops for private, public and voluntary organisations. He turned to writing fiction after a long career in design, during which he wrote for Creative Review, PR Week and Design Magazine, and edited copy for the National Trust, Macmillan Cancer Relief, the Royal Society, Ernst and Young, the Child Support Agency and others. Tim has worked as a visiting author in schools. He was RLF Writing Fellow at the University of Kent, where he continues to work mentoring students and leading workshops on academic writing skills. He is the author of the Fizzle stories – Shipley Manor, The Flying Fizzler and Rise Of The Rattler – and is currently working on his second trilogy.
