Yvonne Coppard is known primarily as an author of novels for children and teenagers. She is currently working as writer in residence with Cafcass (Children and Families Court Advisory Support and Services). Yvonne uses her experiences as a teacher, safeguarding adviser and magistrate in her writing workshops to develop the art of clear, respectful and direct communication with clients and customers. She has worked in health, social care, education, charity, business and legal settings. Yvonne was an RLF Fellow at Anglia Ruskin and Essex universities. She was a contributing writer on The Wild House series for CBBC and her novel Bully was adapted for stage and radio. Yvonne also writes non-fiction and fiction for adults.
